2024: FA Accreditation
After five years of playing together and with 3 years affiliated via Brinscall JFC, we took the decision to become accredited as an independent club with the Football Association.

Hardly Athletic FC provides football opportunities for those who have fallen out of playing football regularly. That could be due to having other commitments, or simply due to age and not being able to find anywhere to play.
Our origins began as an over 40’s team, though over the last 5 years, as we have been successful in retaining and developing so many of our over 40 players, we have been able to expand our offering to include over 50’s specific football as a result.
We also have plenty of over 35’s playing in different formats of football, with everything from 5 a side, 11 aside, Walking Football and social kickabout sessions.
In some ways, we are like many junior football clubs – but rather than ages 5-18, we provide football for people aged between 35 and 60.
Over time, we hope to expand this further to include other age groups and ladies.
